How do I keep my handle on a new phone?

Sign in to Game Center. Settings shows "Your handle is saved to Game Center." when it's linked. On the new phone, sign in to the same Game Center account before you pick a handle, and the app brings yours back with your hats and progress.

Why didn't my score post?

A Daily score counts for that day's board only, and the day ends at midnight UTC. Daily and campaign scores post when you clear the board. If you were offline, the app sends your score when you reconnect, as long as it's still the same day. If the app asks you to update, update it from the App Store first.

How does scoring work?

Each letter from the train you clear in a word is worth 100, and each word adds 50. Long words arm a multiplier for the next words. Letters you shoot in help spell words but don't score themselves. Each shot costs 15, and clearing a board fast adds a bonus.

What's Hexed?

A harder board, the same for everyone each day, with one attempt. Your result posts whether or not you clear it.

Someone has an offensive name. What can I do?

On a leaderboard, tap the name to open their card, then tap the flag. We review reports and remove names that break the rules.

How do I turn the daily reminder on or off?

In Settings › Reminders.

How do I delete my account?

In Settings › Delete account. It removes your handle, scores, and progress for good. The privacy policy lists everything it deletes.
